The third round of downtown parking and transit meetings with City Manager Eric Anderson will shift into full gear next week. Again, the meetings will be held in each of the six downtown neighborhood districts: the Theater District, the Dome District, the Stadium District, the Hilltop, the Thea Foss Waterway area and the University of Washington Tacoma area.
During this series of parking discussions, City Manager Eric Anderson will share his proposed recommendations for moving forward with a strategic downtown parking and transit plan and will garner feedback from citizens about his suggestions. Participants are welcome to bring any additional questions or concerns that were not covered during the first two rounds of meetings, as well as any questions that may arise from the answers being provided via the City’s Web site.
The meeting schedule includes: Dome District, Aug. 22 from 6 – 7:30 p.m., Freighthouse Square, Phoenix Room; Theater District, Aug. 23 from 5:30 – 7 p.m., Pantages Theater, Lobby; Stadium District, Sept. 5 from 5:30 – 7 p.m., The Landmark, Rainier Room; Foss Waterway, Sept. 13 from 5:30 – 7 p.m., Museum of Glass, Cafe; Hilltop, Sept. 10 from 5:30 – 7 p.m., Allen Russell Building; University of Washington Tacoma, Sept. 20 from 5:30 – 7 p.m., UWT Tacoma Room.
