The City Council approved a resolution June 21 that states the City will offer in-kind services and use of facilities valued at up to $150,000 in an agreement with the Tacoma Events Commission to help support the Tall Ships Tacoma 2005 event that is slated to run June 30 through July 5. The City’s contribution will be matched by the Tacoma Events Commission, and the commission would be required to pay the City the full cost of any additional goods, services or facility use.
