The City Council seeks your feedback as it considers refining the 2005-2010 Strategic Plan. The Council is particularly interested in what citizens think about the three priorities outlined in the work.
Tacoma residents are encouraged to complete an online survey that asks, “What do these priorities mean to you?” The online survey is available on the City’s Web site at cityoftacoma.org/strategicplan.
The three priorities councilmembers are soliciting feedback on are:
— A safe, healthy, livable community
— A balanced vibrant economy
— A results-oriented government
The information gathered from the survey will be compiled and shared with the City Council as it continues to discuss the strategic plan during upcoming study sessions. If you are interested in listening to the conversation taking place, you can attend the meeting in Tacoma Municipal Building North, Room 16 or tune in to CityPost (Channel 21 on Click!, Channel 77 on Comcast) which will broadcast the audio portion of the session live. Replays of the study session audio may be heard Wednesdays at 7 p.m. on CityPost (Channel 21 on Click!, Channel 77 on Comcast).
The strategic plan is intended to establish a clear vision for Tacoma’s future, address the quality of life issues in our community and outline strategic goals and objectives to help guide the City into the future.
