Grand opening ceremonies for the Crystal Judson Family Justice Center to help domestic violence victims and their families are scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 20 at the facility at 718 Court E. City Councilmember Rick Talbert and Pierce County Council Chair Shawn Bunney will emcee the ceremonies, and speakers include U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell and Congressmen Norm Dicks and Dave Reichert. The Family Justice Center opened Dec. 12, 2005, and it is funded and operated jointly by Pierce County and the City of Tacoma.
