Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County Hires New VP for Business Recruitment

The Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County (EDB) is thrilled to welcome Sarah Bonds as the new Vice President for Business Recruitment. Sarah brings 13 years of property management experience to the position, in addition to recent experience in marketing and business development for Tacoma Mall. Sarah is eager to continue working and creating value for Tacoma and Pierce County.

“I look forward to continuing to strengthen the community that I live and work in by bringing jobs to the area,” Bonds said. “Jobs offer our community and neighbors a fulfilling and enjoyable quality of life. I am thrilled to be part of this process and I am ready to hit the ground running.”

The role of Vice President for Business Recruitment involves working with domestic and international clients who are considering business locations in Tacoma and Pierce County. This position has a direct impact on creating jobs and wealth in the South Sound.

Sarah is an active member of the Tacoma-Pierce County community. She has served on the Franciscan Women’s Advisory Board and has volunteered with the American Heart Association. She also enjoys volunteering at her daughters’ school in the Puyallup School District where she teaches art to students.
