A grassfire sparked by a passing train was burning along railroad tracks Tuesday night in east Tacoma, but no homes were threatened, and fire crews said the blaze was contained.
The spot fires reportedly were burning along an are of about 22 city blocks.
One garage burned, but no other structures were damaged, fire officials said.
