More than 90 nonprofit, business and government employers seeking employees with college degrees will participate in the University of Washington Tacomas Career Fair 2006, April 18-19.Â
Employers will be on hand to discuss what it takes to get full- or part-time work with their organizations. Information will also be available about internships, summer jobs and work-study positions. Participants should wear professional attire and bring their resumes.
Career Fair 2006, sponsored by the Career Development Center at UW Tacoma, and geared primarily for students and alumni of UW Tacoma, will be held in the universitys Garretson Woodruff Pratt and West Coast Grocery buildings, from 12:30-4:30 p.m. On April 18, the fair will feature business employers, and on April 19, employers from business, nonprofit organizations, government and public agencies will be available. Admission is free.
Some of the organizations included in this fair are: Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Milgard Manufacturing, Russell Investment Group, Village Concepts, Weyerhaeuser, Key Bank, Auditor’s office (Washington State), Big Brothers Big Sisters of King and Pierce Counties,
Department of Personnel (Washington State), DSHS- Division of Child Support (Washington State), Franciscan Health System, Sagem Morpho, Xvirsity, Pierce County Juvenile Court, Ryther Child Center, and Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation.
