Tacoma Mall announced Thursday that Forever 21 will return to the mall early in summer of 2017.  As one of the largest specialty fashion retailers in the United States, and a favorite of many Tacoma Mall shoppers, Forever 21 offers clothing, accessories and beauty products for women, men and girls.

“We are thrilled to have Forever 21 return to Tacoma Mall,” said Sarah Bonds, director of marketing and business development. “We listen to our shoppers retailer requests and work very hard to provide trendy and exciting brands that our customers will enjoy. Forever 21 was missed by our community and we are overjoyed they’ll be back.”

Forever 21 is taking over a 15,000-square-foot location between Starbucks and JCPenney and is one of Forever 21’s more than 500 locations across the United States.

Forever 21 left 84,000 square feet of empty retail space at Tacoma Mall in July 2016. It will remain vacant until fall 2017 when Pennsylvania-based sporting goods retailer, Dick’s Sporting Goods, takes over the major anchor space.

The store will be Dick’s sixth in Washington State, joining Puyallup, Renton, Issaquah, Marysville and Federal Way.

With over 150 stores ranging from women’s apparel, children’s fashion and home electronics, Tacoma Mall is the premier shopping destination in Pierce County.
