There will also be a public hearing held by the City Council on June 17 to consider designating approximately 658.6 acres in downtown Tacoma as a Revenue Development Area (RDA) and to authorize the City Manager to submit a Local Infrastructure Financing Tool (“LIFT”) Competitive Program application to the State of Washington, Community Economic Revitalization Board.
Additionally, the Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing to consider proposed agreements with ProLogis and BNSF Railway for the proposed sale of surplus property, possible vacation of right-of-way, and granting air space easement for a future pedestrian overpass.
Lastly, the Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing concerning the findings of the Washington State Auditor’s Office performance audit report regarding public records requests.
