Tacoma firefighters are responding this morning to reports of an accident involving a garbage truck and a downed light pole in an alley off South 55th Street and Pacific Avenue South, according to Tacoma Fire Department officials. Tacoma Power crews are on the scene to shut off the power. The driver has been able to leave the vehicle uninjured.
