Globe Machine Manufacturing Company of Tacoma is the recipient of this years World Trade Center Tacoma Globe Award, for that companys contributing to the communitys international status through their trade participation.
Globe Machines growth outside the U.S. and their export sales – 30 percent of their annual $30 million sales volume – helped earn them the award. They export locally produced products around the world, to Canada, Brazil, South Africa and China.
The company will be honored at the annual Globe Awards Dinner on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the Tacoma Convention Center.
