Beginning Tues., Feb. 15, customers will notice a new look and feel to the ‘Good To Go!’ Web site. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is upgrading the Web site as part of its transition to a new statewide customer service center for tolls.
‘Good To Go!’ is Washington’s statewide electronic tolling system. Electronic tolling allows tolls to be collected at highway speeds with no stopping or slowing. The State Route 520 floating bridge will be the first facility in the state to use all-electronic tolling, with no traditional cash collection toll booths.
During the Web site upgrade and transition period through Feb. 15, WSDOT is not accepting new ‘Good To Go!’ applications or orders to the new customer service center. Current customers will still be able to update account information online, by phone or at the Gig Harbor customer service center until Feb. 9, and can continue to use their transponder on all state toll facilities. The new customer service center and Web site will feature a suite of five new ‘Good To Go!’ Passes (transponders) ranging in cost from $5-$12. Among the new passes are smaller and movable options. Drivers can link several passes to a single account, permitting them to select the best pass option for each vehicle.
“Priced at $5, the new Standard Sticker Pass is a great option for drives because it is smaller and less expensive than the previous ‘Good To Go!’ Transponder that sold for $12,” Toll Division Director Craig Stone said. “And with one ‘Good To Go!’ account a driver can use any tolled facility in the state.”
New pass options will be offered in tandem with the opening of two new walk-in customer service centers conveniently located on the SR 520 corridor in Seattle and Bellevue. WSDOT also will announce special introductory offers for SR 520 tolls during grand opening activities scheduled for Feb. 15. The transfer of all existing account information to the new system is scheduled to occur Feb. 10-13. During this time, customers will not be able to access account information. For more information visit http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/goodtogo or call 1-866-936-8246.
