John L. Scott Real Estate Agent Mike Flynn has been named by the Washington Association of REALTORS as the 2002 REALTOR of the Year.
Flynn has long been active in REALTOR affairs, not only as a government affairs specialist but also as Association Director. He is 2002 VP of Government Affairs for the State Association, overseeing the legislative agenda development and political advocacy of the 15,000-member organization. He has been one of the principal architects of the Quality of Life Project, an advocacy program aimed at building better communities under the state’s growth management laws.
Locally, Flynn served as 2000 President of the Tacoma-Pierce County Association of REALTORS and established strategic planning as a means to better serve its 1,450 members.
Flynn is an agent in John L. Scott’s University Place office in Tacoma. He has been with John L. Scott since 1993 and is consistently one of the company’s top performing agents.
