KLAY News/Talk & Sports Radio, in a show of support for the economic growth of burgeoning area business, recently donated $25,000 in advertising to the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber to be awarded to its members. The donation is a part of KLAY’s initiative to drive economic success in this region.

“We are excited to receive this gift from KLAY to promote Tacoma-Pierce County businesses,” said Tom Pierson, Tacoma-Pierce County President and CEO. “KLAY recognizes the need to help local businesses during these challenging economic times and we are happy to offer our members this great opportunity.”

The $25,000 donation will be dispersed by the Chamber in $500 increments to randomly selected 21st Century Partners, continuing members and new members.

“We are proud to make this donation to the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber,” said KLAY’s General Manager Bob McCluskey. “We feel the Chamber does a fantastic job in advocating and promoting local business. This donation and our efforts are meant to compliment that. At KLAY we feel that local businesses are a big part of what makes this area so special.
