The Tacoma Landmarks Preservation Commission will take public comment on the following items at a public hearing at 5 p.m. on June 14:

— Nominations to the Tacoma Register of Historic Places for Washington Elementary at 3701 N. 26th St.; Lincoln High School at 701 S. 37th St.; and the National Bank of Tacoma at 1123 Pacific Ave.

— Request to rename Pacific Plaza in the 1500 block of Pacific Avenue as Harold M. Tollefson Pacific Plaza.

The hearing will take place in the Tacoma Municipal Building North at 733 Market St., Rm. 16. Those who wish to comment but are unable to attend the hearing may submit written comments by noon, June 14, 2006 to Landmarks Preservation Commission, 747 Market St. Room 1036, Tacoma, WA 98402
