Smyth, P.E., 326 ED St Tacoma, WA 98421, is seeking coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology's Construction Stormwater NPDES and State Waste Discharge General Permit. The proposed project, East 40th St Green SW Infrastructure, is located at East 40th St. from McKinley Ave to Portland Ave, East Howe St. from East 40th St. to East 38th St., and East L. St. from East 40th St. to one block north in Tacoma in Pierce county. This project involves 8 acres of soil disturbance for Highway or Road, Utilities, Other (Biofiltration Swales and Shared Use Path) construction activities. The receiving waterbody is West-West Branch of First Creek. Any persons desiring to present their views to the Washington State Department of Ecology regarding this application, or interested in Ecology's action on this application, may notify Ecology in writing no later than 30 days of the last date of publication of this notice.
