The Master Builders Association of Pierce County (MBA) announced the winners of the 2002 Wells Fargo Street of Dreams at an awards banquet Tuesday night.

Produced by the MBA, the Street of Dreams was held at Northwest Landing, a planned community in DuPont.

The event featured seven home showcasing trends in technology, design, landscaping and style.

More than 25,000 people visited the Street of Dreams over its four-week run that ended Sept. 2.

Builders at the Street of Dreams included Ambrosia Homes, Boardwalk Homes, Chasewood Homes, Legacy Custom Homes, Manchester Construction, North Bay Homes and Signature Custom Homes.

In the People’s Choice Awards, every Street of Dreams visitor was given the opportunity to vote on their favorite home in six different categories.

Over 5,000 attendees voted and produced these results:
– Best Landscaping – Ambrosia Homes
– Best Interior Design – Ambrosia Homes
– Best Master Bedroom – Manchester Construction
– Best Architectural Design – Ambrosia Homes
– Best Kitchen – Ambrosia Homes
– Best of Show – Ambrosia Homes

In addition to the People’s Choice Awards, six professional judges were given the opportunity to cast their vote in similar categories:
– Best Landscaping – Signature Custom Homes
– Best Interior Decorating – Boardwalk Homes
– Most Innovative – Ambrosia Homes
– Best Architectural Design – Legacy Custom Homes
– Best of Show – Legacy Homes

In addition, North Bay Homes won both the Realtors Choice Award and the Doing Business with Members Award.
