Members of the City Council are scheduled during the March 24 study session to receive an update on the planning process for making improvements to McCarver Park, which includes the Zina Linnik Memorial Park. The improvements are a collaborative effort among Metro Parks, the Hilltop Action Coalition, the Central Neighborhood Council and the Tacoma School District. As a second item on the agenda, there will be a presentation on the draft 2009-2010 Annual Action Plan of the Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development.

The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session, which will be held in the Council Chambers located on the first floor of the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St.. This session will be broadcast live on TV Tacoma and on http://www.tvtacoma.com .
