Chuckals Office Products, a business-to-business office supply company that has been in downtown Tacoma for 20 years, announced Tuesday it will expand its operations by merging with Silverdale, Wash.-based Speed’s Stationers.
According to Chuckals Office Products president Al Lynden, the company will retain Speed’s Stationers warehouse in Silverdale as a distribution center and has plans to support it with a local Kitsap County account manager. Lee Speed, founder and current president of Speed’s Stationers, is retiring after over 45 years in the office supply industry.
“We’re delighted to welcome Speed’s customers to the Chuckals family,” said Lynden. “Chuckals and Speed’s share a common culture based on long-term business relationships with our customers, and we are looking forward to the opportunity to bring the superior customer service and value that have been the hallmarks of Chuckals for over 20 years to our new customers in Kitsap County.”
