Members of the City Council are scheduled Sept. 11 to receive an update on the status of the Mixed Use Center Review project that is evaluating the mixed-use centers designated in the Comprehensive Plan. Emerging issues – based on public input – include revising development regulations including allowable heights, parking standards, landscaping and zoning reclassifications. Council members are also scheduled to receive an update on the Classification and Compensation study on Sept. 9. Milliman Inc., the consulting firm hired to conduct the study, will continue the discussion around the elements of a pay strategy framework.

The Council will not take public comment during the noon study session in the Tacoma Municipal Building North, Room 16.
