“Steve Wamback was recently appointed as solid waste administrator for Pierce County. The appointment was announced by Executive Doug Sutherland and Deputy Executive Francea McNair, who also serves as executive director of operations.Wamback joined Pierce County Solid Waste Division in 1992 as a solid waste analyst. The Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission previously employed him as a policy specialist. Wamback has been serving as interim administrator since the retirement of Marty Erdahl at the end of last year.”
