Port of Tacoma officials announced Wednesday they will implement a new gate entry procedure effective March 1 in order to ease congestion on Port of Tacoma Road. At Olympic Container Terminal, container trucks will queue for gate entry on East 11th Street (the truck shown at #1 on the map will be considered first in line). At Husky and Washington United terminals, container trucks continue to queue for gate entry in the right lane of Port of Tacoma Road.
