As part of the City of Tacoma’s Safe and Clean effort, the business and licensing team, which is focused on making Tacoma safer through business licensing conditions and restrictions, is hosting a community engagement meeting related to night clubs.
The public meeting will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 9, at the Tacoma Police Headquarters located at 3701 S. Pine St. The team would like to discuss potential challenges related to night clubs within the community and would also like to hear your ideas about how to better manage these issues from club owners and community members.
Nine months ago, the City set out to make Tacoma safer and cleaner by reducing crime and removing nuisances, debris and junk vehicles. Twenty-two teams are working to partner with the community to make positive changes in the city.
