UNKNOWN HEIRS AND DEVISEES OF ALLEN H. HISEY, DECEASED; UNKNOWN HEIRS AND DEVISEES OF MINNIE MYERS HISEY, DECEASED, and ALL PERSONS, PARTIES OR OCCUPANTS UNKNOWN CLAIMING ANY LEGAL OR EQUITABLE RIGHT, TITLE, ESTATE, LIEN OR INTEREST IN THE REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN THE COMPLAINT,

Defendants.

THE STATE OF WASHINGTON TO THE ABOVE-NAMED DEFENDANT(S):

You are hereby summoned to appear within sixty (60) days after the date of the first publication of this summons, which date was December 28, 2020, and defend the above-entitled action in the above-entitled court, and answer the complaint of the Plaintiff, CURTIS L. GRINDLEY and VALERIE K. GRINDLEY, husband and wife, and serve a copy of your answer upon the undersigned attorneys Plaintiff, DAVID C. HAMMERMASTER, at his office below stated. In case of your failure so to do, judgment will be rendered against you according to the demand of the complaint, which has been filed with the Clerk of said court.

The purpose of the action is to adjudicate and determine that the Defendants have no interest in the following described real property, the Defendants’ interest, if any, having been acquired by the Plaintiff by adverse possession:

BEGINNING ON THE EAST LINE OF DARTMOUTH STREET IN THE PLAT OF THE SOUTH TACOMA LAND COMPANY’S FIRST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF TACOMA, RECORDED IN THE COUNTY AUDITOR’S OFFICE ON PAGES 62 AND 63 OF BOOK 4 OF PLATS, AT THE INTERSECTION OF SAID LINE WITH THE SOUTH LINE OF 99TH STREET EAST (MIDLAND-SUMMIT HIGHWAY);

THENCE ON SAID SOUTH LINE OF 99TH STREET EAST 300.28 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF PIERCE COUNTY SHORT PLAT APPLICATION NO. 815593, RECORDED UNDER RECORDING NO. 201601065004;

THENCE SOUTH ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID SHORT PLAT AND ITS SOUTHERLY PROLONGATION 631.75 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE NORTH LINE OF THE ALLEY BETWEEN BLOCKS 131 AND 134 OF SAID PLAT;

THENCE ON SAID NORTH LINE OF ALLEY, EAST 30 FEET;

THENCE PARALLEL WITH THE EAST LINE OF SAID SHORT PLAT AND ITS SOUTHERLY PROLONGATION NORTH 631.75 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE SOUTH LINE OF 99TH STREET EAST (MIDLAND-SUMMIT HIGHWAY);

THENCE ON SAID SOUTH LINE OF 99TH STREET WEST 30 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
