YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED to appear within twenty (20) days of service of this Summons or within thirty (30) days if you are served outside the State of Washington or thirty (30) days from the date of the first publication hereof if service of this Summons is made by publication.
YOU ARE EACH HEREBY NOTIFIED that there has been filed in this Court a Petition for Adoption of the above-named child and praying that the parent-child relationship between the birth father(s) of the above-named child and said child be terminated. The child’s date of birth is September 2, 2005. The child was born in Kurchatov, Russia. The child’s birth mother is Nataliia Veloni, formerly Nataliia Shkurina. This Summons concerns a petition by Eric Veloni, to adopt Bohdan Veloni and for the termination of the parent-child relationship between said child and his birth father(s).
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that a non-consenting parent or birth father have a right to be represented by counsel (an attorney). Counsel will be appointed for an indigent person who requests counsel.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED THAT YOUR FAILURE TO RESPOND TO THE
ABOVE-MENTIONED PETITION BY FILING
A RESPONSIVE PLEADING TO THAT PETITION, WITHIN TWENTY DAYS OF SERVICE IF SERVED WITHIN THE STATE OF WASHINGTON OR THIRTY DAYS OF SERVICE IF SERVED OUTSIDE THE STATE OF WASHINGTON OR WITHIN THIRTY DAYS FROM THE DATE OF FIRST PUBLICATION IF SERVICE OF THIS NOTICE IS BY PUBLICATION WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION OF YOUR PARENT-CHILD RELATIONSHIP WITH RESPECT TO THE ABOVE-NAMED CHILD.
YOU ARE FURTHER NOTIFIED that the Court hearing on the said matter shall be held on the 12th day of June, 2020, at 9:00 a.m., at Pierce County Juvenile Court (Remann Hall), 550l-6th Avenue, (Courtroom to be designated), Tacoma, Washington.
YOUR FAILURE TO APPEAR AT THIS HEARING MAY RESULT IN A DEFAULT ORDER PERMANENTLY TERMINATING ALL OF YOUR RIGHTS TO THE ABOVE-NAMED CHILD.
