You are hereby summoned to appear within sixty (60) days after the date of the first publication of this Summons, to it, within sixty (60) days after the 2nd day of December 2024 and defend the Quiet Title in Pierce County, Washington and answer the Complaint of B A&A HOLDINGS LLC, a Washington limited liability company (“Plaintiffs”). You are asked to serve a copy of your Answer or responsive pleading upon the undersigned attorneys for the Plaintiff at its office stated below. In case of your failure to do so judgment will be rendered against you according to the demand of the Complaint which has been filed with the Clerk of the Court.
The purpose of this lawsuit is to Quiet Title as to the interest of the Defendants in the real property located in Pierce County, Washington and legally described as:
BEGINNING 300 FEET WEST OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 2 OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP17 NORTH, RANGE 5 EAST, W.M.; THENCE SOUTH 500 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 53°10’ EAST 130 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 36°50’ WEST 609.84 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 53°10’ 500 FEET; THENCE NORTH 36°50’ EAST 250 FEET TO EAST LINE OF LOT 2; THENCE SOUTH 370 FEET TO SOUTHEAST CORNER LOT 2; THENCE WEST TO SOUTHWEST CORNER LOT 2; THENCE NORTH TO NORTHWEST CORNER LOT 2; THENCE EAST TO BEGINNING, IN PIERCE COUNTY,WASHINGTON;TOGETHER WITH THAT PORTION OF LOT 1 LYING SOUTHERLY AND EASTERLY OF KAPOWSIN ELECTRON COUNTY ROAD AND SOUTHERLY OF THE TACOMA EASTERN RAILROAD CO. RIGHT OFWAY; EXCEPT BEGINNING 1000 FEET SOUTH OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 5; THENCE WEST 208.60 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 208.60 FEET; THENCE EAST 208.60 FEET; THENCE NORTH 208.60 FEET TO BEGINNING; AND EXCEPT BURLINGTON NORTHERN RAILROAD FORMERLY ORTING BRANCH RAILROAD RIGHTOF WAY;AND EXCEPT CAMP 1 ROAD EAST;TOGETHER WITH THE SOUTH HALF OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION 5;TOGETHER WITH THE WEST HALF OF LOT 5 OF SAID SECTION 5; EXCEPT THE NORTH 10 ACRES;TOGETHER WITH THE EAST HALF OF LOT 5 AND ALL OF LOT 6 OF SAID SECTION 5;EXCEPT KAPOWSIN ELECTRON COUNTY ROAD;
EXCEPT THAT PORTION LYING SOUTHERLY AND WESTERLY OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LINE:BEGINNING AT INTERSECTION OF SOUTH BOUNDARY RIGHT OF WAY OF ELECTRON KAPOWSIN COUNTY ROAD AND WEST LINE OF SAID SECTION 5; THENCE NORTHEASTERLY ALONG SAID RIGHT OF WAY ROAD 580 FEET; THENCE SOUTH PARALLEL TO WEST LINE SAID SECTION TO SHORELINE OF LAKE KAPOWSIN AND TERMINATION OF SAID LINE; EXCEPT THAT PORTION LYING NORTHERLY AND WESTERLY OF ORVILLE COUNTY ROAD EAST;
