Statewide recognition and an invitation to Washington, D.C., await next years Washington State Small Business Person of the Year.
Candidates for Small Business Person of the Year must meet criteria that includes staying power, growth in employment, increase in sales, innovation, response to adversity, and community contributions.
It is not necessary for the nominee to have received SBA assistance.
