Pacific Towers, the high end condominium complex that sits atop Pacific Avenue, had its official grand opening today.
While there was no grand opening ceremony per se, a model unit has been set up for perspective buyers to check out.
The 12-story, 95-unit building offers a host of amenities, including convenient freeway and downtown access, high-speed Internet wiring, a two-story underground parking facility and beautiful panoramic views of downtown, Commencement Bay and Mount Rainier.
Interest in the project began almost as soon as construction on the building began about about a year ago, with several interested buyers inquiring about moving in.
Quite a few of the units having been sold, according to an employee at the Pacific Towers sales office.
Oscar and Olivann Hokold are the developers of the $20 million project.
The Hokolds are longtime home developers and owners of the regions King Oscar hotel chain.
Pacific Towers joins a growing number of housing developments being built in Tacoma. In October, Theas Landing – a combination apartment, condominium and retail/commercial space – opened on Dock Street.
Starting prices for the upscale condominiums begin at $195,000 for a one-bedroom unit, $280,000 for a two-bedroom unit and $495,000 for a three-bedroom unit.
Pacific Towers is located at 3201 Pacific Ave. For more information, visit the Pacific Towers Website at: www.pacific-towers.com.
