Pierce County Executive John Landenburg, Tacoma City Councilmember Julie Anderson and Superior Court Judge John McCarthy will comprise a panel Nov. 7 at Tacoma Community College to discuss case studies in which decisions triggered honest reactions over perceptions of fairness in government. The event, entitled “It’s Not Fair! or is it?” is organized by TCC’s Center for Ethical Development, and will be moderated by Pat Steel, the co-chair of the Center’s advisory committee.
The event, to be held 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Senate Room of the Opgaard Student Center, is free.
The panel discussion is the first of a series of ethics events on topics that will range from business to medical ethics in the community and within the college, sponsored by the ethics center. The center’s mission is to provide quality education programs in ethics.
