The Pierce County Arts Commission is calling for nominations for its 22nd Annual Margaret K. Williams Arts Awards.

Awards are made annually to individuals and organizations in recognition of their contributions to the arts in Pierce County. Recipients will be honored at the annual reception at the Tacoma Art Museum sponsored by Columbia Bank.

The four award categories include Excellence in the Arts, Arts Education, Career, and the Jim Smith Memorial Award for support of the arts, and/or preservation of cultural traditions.

Nominations must be returned by Aug. 14.
