Election season is upon us. The Pierce County Auditor’s Office annual candidate’s night event is scheduled for Thurs., April 22, at 6 p.m.

The workshop will be held at the Pierce County Election Center, 2501 S. 35th Street, Suite C, Tacoma, WA 98409.

“This event is a valuable tool for candidates as well as campaign managers and key volunteers. Our goal is to have every campaign compliant with the laws and administrative policies,” Pierce County Auditor Julie Anderson said.

Valuable information will be provided, including: new online candidate filing system; public disclosure requirements (a PDC staff member will be present to answer questions); voter pamphlet statement and photo submittal process; and data files and maps from the Auditor’s Office.

Additionally, vendors will be present to answer questions in a “vendor fair” format.
