Action on Ordinances
Proposal No. 2003-44, adopting a new Chapter 2.89 of the Pierce County Code, “Tacoma Narrows Airport Advisory Commission.”

A Substitution Ordinance with the following title will be before the Council on August 12, for consideration:
Proposal No. 2003-44s, adopting a new Chapter 2.89 of the Pierce County Code, “Tacoma Narrows Airport Advisory Commission”; and amending Chapter 2.58 of the Pierce County Code, “Gig Harbor Peninsula Advisory Commission” to transfer its review responsibilities regarding the Tacoma Narrows Airport to the Tacoma Narrows Airport Advisory Commission.

Resolutions
Proposal No. R2003-86, repealing Resolution No. R99-105; and adopting a new organization chart for the office of the Pierce County Council.

Proposal No. R2003-88, calling for a special election on September 16, 2003, for the purpose of submitting to the affected voters the determination of whether or not the proposed City of Frederickson shall be incorporated as a non-charter code city; describing the boundaries of the proposed City of Frederickson; and providing a ballot title.

Proposal No. R2003-89, declaring Pierce County to be a county of promise, based on the five promises to children and youth.

Executive Session
To discuss the legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency.
