Pierce County Parks and Recreation is accepting applications to fill four vacancies on its Citizens Advisory Board. Terms are four years.

The nine-member board meets monthly on the third Tuesday to advise the department on parks and recreation issues and strategic planning efforts. Applicants must reside in Pierce County.

Applications can be obtained from Parks and Recreation, 9112 Lakewood Drive S.W., Lakewood, or the Office of the County Executive, 930 Tacoma Ave. S. room 737, Tacoma. The deadline for submitting completed applications is Sept. 30.
