In an effort to help stimulate business opportunities, the Pierce County Economic Development Division is hosting a local purchasing forum adjacent to Chambers Bay Golf Course.

The forum will offer your business a chance to learn first-hand how to register and compete for contracts with federal and state government, school districts, and public entities in Pierce County; ask questions of a panel of government purchasing agents; meet one-on-one with purchasing agents; and meet and interact with Pierce County business owners and managers.

The free forum will occur on Fri., Oct. 1 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Environmental Services Building, 9850 64th St. W., in University Place.
