“North Tacoma resident Sue Woodward has been named Pierce Transit operator of the quarter for the third quarter of 1999.The award recognizes outstanding performance in safety, attendance and customer relations by transit operators who drive buses for the agency.Woodward joined Pierce Transit in 1988. She is very popular with her customers, according to her supervisor, Sharon Olson.She has a great sense of humor and is always pleasant and helpful to passengers, Olson said. She receives numerous compliments.As operator of the quarter, Woodward received a plaque and a paid day off.”
