PT-33-13 Pierce Transit is a municipal corporation with administrative offices located at 3701 96th Street SW, Lakewood, Washington. Proposals are being solicited for self-service vending services and vending machines for food and beverages. Plans, specifications, proposal, contract, bond and affidavit forms may be inspected and obtained by prospective proposers by contacting the Purchasing Agent at Pierce Transit, 3701 96th Street SW, P.O. Box 99070, Lakewood, Washington 98499. You may also view and request bids on our web site at www.piercetransit.org. A pre-proposal conference will be held September 12, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in a conference room at Pierce Transit's Training Facility (Building 5), 3720 96th Street SW, Lakewood, Washington 98499. All prospective proposers are encouraged to attend. The pre-proposal conference will provide the opportunity to review the requirements and intent of the contract documents. Following the meeting attendees will be invited to a walkthrough of the base buildings. Tours of the facilities WILL NOT be provided before or after the pre-proposal conference. Prospective proposers are required to abide by Pierce Transit's general instructions to proposers. Failure of proposers to comply with the general instructions may result in disqualification of their bid. Sealed bid proposals will be accepted by the Purchasing Agent at Pierce Transit Headquarters until 4:00 p.m. October 4, 2013.
