A new video series that supports the Tacoma Police Department’s continued efforts to build trust, relationships and understanding between community members and Tacoma Police Department officers, “Talks With TPD” launches with a conversation between Tacoma Police Chief Don Ramsdell and Office of Equity and Human Rights Director Diane Powers.
“Last October, in support of the City of Tacoma’s commitment to raising levels of transparency and accountability across the organization, the Tacoma Police Department released its very first data sets on the City of Tacoma’s open data portal, TacomaData, and we plan to release more on a quarterly basis,” said Ramsdell. “This new video series is just one of the many things we are doing to help our community members better understand where we are coming from and how we are evolving to better serve them.”
