The Port of Tacoma has released its fall issue of Pacific Gateway magazine, the twice-yearly publication that highlights Port of Tacoma trade and transportation developments, activities, customers, and the local community.

The new issue features efforts and investments under way to prepare the Port of Tacoma to handle the larger vessels and associated additional cargo being introduced into the trans-Pacific trade; Trevor Thornsley, the senior project manager who has led major redevelopment projects at the Port of Tacoma, including an upgrade of Pier 3; four companies honored with Summit Awards; creative solutions devised by the Port of Tacoma’s maintenance team save money and keep equipment and facilities running smoothly; and new container services that complement existing breakbulk services and strengthen the Port of Tacoma’s connection with Oceania.
