Executive Director Tim Farrell will present details of the Northwest Ports Clean Air Strategy Tuesday as part of a panel discussion at the annual Faster Freight, Cleaner Air conference in Los Angeles. The clean air strategy, a joint effort by the Port of Tacoma, Port of Seattle and Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, is one of four initiatives slated for a panel discussion on “The Tide is Turning: Environmental Initiatives Sweeping North America.” Farrell is scheduled to talk about the unique characteristics of the Northwest that led to the targeted, cooperative effort outlined in the strategy.
