On Monday and Tuesday of next week, crews are scheduled to pave the first of two layers of asphalt along Portland Avenue between 29th & 38th streets. The paving process takes two efforts. Once the base course is complete, crews will return in two to four weeks to pave a top course. The area will be limited to one-lane for the duration of the work and there will be extended traffic delays. Construction is sensitive to weather and is subject to change.
