The City of Tacoma announced Friday it is accepting bids for a project that would bring a range of improvements to Ray C. Roberts (Tom Schuster) Memorial Park on Tacoma’s East Side.
According to bid documents, the project includes the new construction of concrete pathways, concrete stairs with railings, a flag pole and base, and underground electrical service and system elements. Optional items include new park benches, the planting of an evergreen tree, topsoil and ground cover plantings, and a decorative concrete border curb.
Ray C. Roberts (Tom Schuster) Memorial Park is located at 802 E. Division Ln.
The project budget is $50,000 to $55,000. Contractors listed on the City of Tacoma’s Small Works Roster may bid on the project by 11 a.m. on Weds., Feb. 19.
