REQUEST FOR BIDS METROPOLITAN PARK DISTRICT OF TACOMA PDZA Holding Facility – Building and Site Work Package BID# J2016-03 BID NOTICE The Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma will receive sealed bids for Bid# 2016-03, PDZA Holding Facility – Building and Site Work Package, at the office of Planning, Design & Development, Metropolitan Park District of Tacoma, 4702 S 19th Street, Tacoma WA 98405 until 3 p.m., March, 3, 2016. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at 3 p.m. Bids received after the appointed time set for receipt will be returned unopened. The project includes, but is not limited to: Cconstruction of a new animal holding facility to serve the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, including concrete pad, foundation and asphalt paving, pre-fabricated metal building, utility connections as shown in the Contract Drawings, and any other miscellaneous elements required to complete the Work as shown on the Drawings. Prevailing Wage Rates and the Metro Parks Tacoma Apprenticeship Training Program requirements will apply. 45 apprentice hours are estimated for this project. The base bid estimate range is $250,000.00 – $300,000.00. Time of completion is 90 calendar days.
