Tacoma residents concerned with the safety of their neighborhoods are invited to participate in a series of focus groups hosted by Safe Streets, the first private, non-profit organization that unites neighbors against crime.
Residents will have a chance to tell the organization how its doing, and also help determine what its priorities should be for the next 5 years. The focus groups are from 6:00 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. at various locations throughout Tacoma and Pierce County.
In addition to discussion, residents will also be able to give their opinions using Electronic Voting. Light refreshments will be served, and the evening will conclude with drawings for door prizes.

— Weds., July 18, Lakewood Library, 6300 Wildaire Rd. SW, Lakewood

— Thurs., August 16, Pierce County Library, Processing and Administrative Center, 3005 112th St. Tacoma (Midland area)
