“Tacoma businesses using Powerscourt , LLC as their Internet Service Provider, were temporarily disconnected Friday. As the company’s voice mail box for service filled up by Friday mid-morning, some customers were peering into the firm’s Pacific Avenue windows and trying the door – searching for help in getting back on line.Diane Lachel, government and community relations manager for Click! Network said the company was in arrears and had made no arrangements, which led to the shut off of service. She said Click! reinstated service later on Friday, temporarily for one week, but was encouraging people to make other arrangements for Internet service.Bill Towey of Powerscourt, said from Cleveland, he refused to be intimidated by Click!’s hardball tactics.I’m aghast, Towey said. Im just as hosed as everyone else.”
