South Sound College Fair Jan. 28

To someone interested in getting a college degree in the South Puget Sound region, the choices can be intimidating. Public or private? Two-year or four-year? Associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree? How do you apply? How do you get financial aid? What should you study?

Find answers to your questions at the third annual South Sound College Fair at the University of Washington, Tacoma from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28. Representatives from 23 colleges and universities around the Sound will gather in one place to meet with prospective students and offer tips on applications, financial aid, advising, degrees, continuing education and more. In addition, participants can tour the growing UWT campus and check out neighboring museums, stores and restaurants.

High school students, adults planning to return to school and others who want to know how to prepare for college are encouraged to attend. Admission is free.

Visitors can explore the tremendous range of educational programs and services available from local colleges and universities that offer programs in the South Puget Sound.
