“The Pierce County Arts Commission has announced five local high school students as Regional High School Arts Competition winners.They are Kristen Orth, Lincoln High School sophomore, first place; Mathew Cruz, Lakes High School junior, second place; Robb Constantine, Curtis High School senior, third place; and Chris Dubos, Sumner High School senior, and Lucas Vidana, Gig Harbor High School senior, both honorable mention.The top three winners advance to state competition. Their art will be displayed in the State Capitol Museum in Olympia, where it will be judged, through May. The Puget Sound Educational Service District sponsors the annual arts competition in cooperation with the Pierce County Arts Commission and similar agencies in other counties.”
