The City Council is scheduled to consider a resolution on Dec.16 that would designate the Blue Mouse Theatre, located at 2611 N. Proctor St., as a City landmark and would add the property to the Tacoma Register of Historic Places. The Landmarks Preservation Commission believes the property reflects an outstanding example of the City’s cultural, artistic, social, architectural, and historic heritage and such designation would foster civic pride in the beauty and accomplishments of the past.
