Tacoma City Councilmember Jake Fey announced today he will be a candidate for the Washington State House of Representatives in the 27th Legislative District which includes much of the City of Tacoma, Ruston, a portion of Fife and Browns Point. Fey will seek the seat currently held by Representative Jeannie Darneille, who announced last week she will be a candidate for the Washington State Senate. Fey is the Director of the Washington State University Energy Program and has served on the Tacoma City Council since 2006. Fey ran for the Legislature in 2010.
