The State Route (SR) 512 Canyon Road overpass will receive pavement repairs and a newly paved surface this week. Washington State Department of Transportation awarded Tucci & Sons Inc. of Tacoma the contract to repair potholes in the road surface.

Pavement grinding and repair work will occur today. The right southbound lane of the bridge deck will be closed from 8am to 11am, and the right northbound lane of the bridge deck will be closed from noon until 4:30pm.

Paving will occur Friday from 8pm until Saturday at 5am. Crews will initially pave the southbound right lane of the bridge deck and once complete, they will pave the right lane of the bridge deck in the northbound direction.
