The nomination deadline for the City of Tacoma’s 27th annual City of Destiny Awards, which spotlights exceptional volunteers who have worked to drive Tacoma forward, has been extended by the Citizens Recognition Committee. Nominations are now being accepted through Jan. 25, 2013.

Eligibility requirements for the nine award categories are available on the 2013 nomination form, which is available in hard copy at the various Tacoma Public Library branches, the City Clerk’s Office, located at the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St., Room 220, and the City Manager’s Office, located at the Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market St., 12th Floor.
